The learner has comprehensive knowledge of French. The learner is able to understand complicated authentic texts and can express himself on complex topics, orally as well as in writing.

Usefulness: CELI 5 is the last of five international Italian diplomas of the Università per Stranieri, Perugia (USP). CELI 5 is, like all Perugia diplomas, internationally recognised. It is recognised by Italian universities as fulfilling the Italian language entrance requirements.

Examiner: The Università per Stranieri, Perugia (USP) is the oldest and most reputed institution in the field of Italian teaching. The CELI exams were introduced in 1993.
